schedule | dfw portrait photographer

when is the last time you had your family portraits taken??  right now is the perfect time!  the weather has finally cooled down + the holidays are right around the corner.  what makes a better gift than an album or gallery wrapped canvas for those gushing new grandparents?  and i promise you'll wow your family + friends with one of the most gorgeous christmas cards they'll see this holiday season! my fall schedule is booking up quickly + you'll want to be sure to book now before it's too late.   i prefer to have my fall sessions wrapped up by mid-november to ensure that you receive your products in time for the holidays.

SCHEDULE UPDATE: october 22nd just opened up.  if anyone is interested in scooping it up, be sure to contact me asap.  if there is enough interest, i may consider offering a couple of mini sessions that day.

party | fort worth child photographer

i can't tell you how glad i am to have lauren's birthday party behind me!  as much as i love planning these shindigs, i think i dread them just as much. haha!  i tend to go a little overboard sometimes + also have a bad habit of leaving everything until the last minute.  but we couldn't have asked for a more gorgeous day + we got to spend it with some really great people!  i stalked the 10 day weather forecast, and i believe it changed on a daily basis, causing my stress-level to go through the roof.  on the day of the party, the weather couldn't decide what it wanted to do, but it ended up turning out to be gorgeous!  as you can see in the photos, the kids enjoyed sno cones, popsicles, jello, swimming, water balloons, the bounce house, the swing set + much more!  we had BBQ for everyone, enough to feed an army!  thanks to all who came to celebrate our sweet girl turning two!

i miss my family terribly + don't get to see them often because they live in canada, but i am very grateful to have such wonderful, loving in-laws.  and we are so very fortunate to live only 10 minutes away from them.  they live on 10 gorgeous acres out in the country + the girls LOVE going out there to visit. they help their g-maw plant flowers, help pawpaw feed the cows + go see all the new baby calves, ride around in the golf cart + drive around in the gator, go fishing at the pond, play in the sandbox, blow bubbles, draw with chalk on the driveway.....needless to say, they spend hours outside!   we have been enjoying the beautiful spring weather over there almost every single weekend.  here are a few snaps from this past weekend.
